Helly Hansen turn the trend
June 18th, 2009 by admin
In the early 90s Helly Hansen was unsuccessfuly run by the legendary capitalist duo Kjell I. Røkke and Bjørn R. Gjelsten who eventually sold the sinking ship to Investcorp, an Arabic trade company.
The ship kept on sinking until 2006, when new leaders were hired to get HH back on track….
The new leaders Peter Sjølander and Knut Høberg have now signed a lucrative agreement with a retailing company in Hong Kong, paving the way for 100-150 new brand-stores in China within the next seven years.
Smart move…
After all, most people live in China.
