Moods of Norway reach the North Pole

They finally made it across the frozen tundra.

Just like Amundsen and his crew did for almost exactly hundre of years ago…

Except this time, the dog sled was replaced by a baby blue limo, and a couple of Huskies, just for company.

Moods on Norways new store, which is planed to open at the end of summer 2010, will be the worlds only Arctic high-end flagship store!

In a resent interview with Marketing of today, Simen explains the reasoning behind their latest expansion

“Initially, we had plans of opening a store in New york, but due to the lack of available retail space, we had to think different. It was a problem. Then…during a late night cocktail party, someone jumped on top of the karaoke bar, grabbed the microphone, and shouted, WHAT WOULD AMUNDSEN DO???

A unison roar from the tipsy Norwegian cocktailers replied, GO TO THE NORTH POLE!!!

“The North pole is one of the few places in the world not suffering from the financial crisis”  

And, according to our latest market-analysis, the arctic will soon be crowed, hoards of new-rich people traveling… and at The North pole,  Moods of Norway will be the only vendor in mils distance, the only one providing “hot” clothes.

“Haha…It will be like selling water in Sahara!”
