One step behind…

Selfie-Jonas?

May 19th, 2014 by admin

It’s finally clear that the labour party’s new leader will be L’enfant terribel Jonas Gahr Store. Also known as Super-Jonas.

Lets take a trip down memory lane, to commemorate why he is an excelent choise as Norways future prime minister.

Let’s begin with the end.

And solve some issues while we are at it.

1.

It is well known he tends to be a little wary about his nickname Super-Jonas. His recent Twitter-post could easily give him the nickname Selfie-Jonas?

Its a decent name.

Watch say?

2.

There have been some mumbeling about his genuin left or right-wing sympathies. But can we all now move away from that old political axis-mumbojumbo. At the end of the day, we can all agree he is a social democrat. Which is a notion being in the very core of the labour party ideology.

Proof?

Would a right-winger, at the time minister of foreign affairs, atleast to some extent show support for the Occupy Wall Street movement. At the time being in the U.S,  just days before meeting with then secretary of foreign affairs Mrs Hillary Clinton?

I think not.

3.

He is, again at least to some extent, pro more transparency in government. And, as we all know. Transparency in government is the only way. Exemplified by this mellow reaction to the wikileaks “incident”.

For extra info read some reassuring documentation on Støre/Selfie-Jonas stand on freedom on the internet. Norwegian version (click) or English version (click).

Last but not least.

He is a real tough  fearless fellow. Anyone seen him skiing down from Ullevolseter to Sognsvann on an icy winter night can confirm that.

Looks like Norways future the next 2-20ish years will be in the best of hands!
