Stargate grabs a Grammy
After climbing the ladder of success for over a decade, Mikkel Eriksen and Tor Erik Hermansen finally reached the top, by winning a Grammy award for best R&B song. (Foto: Robyn Beck/Scanpix/AFP)
Before their international sucsess, they were the masterminds behind several legendary hits. Among them, Ståle Stiils “Yo!” and “Friends” by Stella Getz. They even worked with Sissel Kjyrkjebø and Stig Van Eijk.
Now, how could two humble white-ish men from Norway get their hands on a Grammy for best R&B song?
I`ll blame TVNorge, a channel which spent the entire 90`s corrupting innocent Norwegian kids with shows like “Fresh prince of Bel-Air”, “In Living Color” etc. glamorising African-American culture, every single day, all day long.
Good influence, nice job!
