The wild duck on benzos

The premier of Henrik Ibsen’s play The wild duck (Villanden) proved a bit too “cultural”, even for Ellen Horn, the director of the national free theatre.
After the show she stated that she had felt “a nauseating discomfort and had a hard time accepting that it was never going to end”.
On some level, this proofs that the critically acclaimed directors Ida Müller & Tore Vagn Lid have succeeded with bringing the motions of Henrik Ibsen into the post 20th century. (Photo: Magnus Skrede)
Must say, playing straight for eight hours and not even getting through the first part; so beyond the edge.
Very contemporary.
